The Distillery District

The last two weekends I spent at the distillery selling my wares. First weekend was pretty rainy.. boo hoo! This past one was partygras, so everyone came out and the sun was shining. Thanks to those who came by to say hi... much appreciated! I'll be back in late August... but next show is the Beaches Jazz Festival the last weekend in July. Come out and enjoy the day... should be a lot of fun!

Bloor St. Festival June 10, 2007

The Bloor St. Festival was amazing! thanks to everyone who came to enjoy the beautiful day in downtown TO. The launch of the newest bags were better than expected. I also debuted the new shopping bags that fold into it's own little pocket... handy to keep in your bag and made from 100% recycled fabrics. hey, one less plastic bag a day! It was fun! Hope to see you all at my next event! I'll keep you posted.

New Designs!

So after many months of preparation, the new designs are ready to go. They should be online in the next 2 weeks. There's 3 new bag designs... The Pocket Purse, Uptown Tote and CarryAll Tote. Plus, good news! My website is getting revamped to be easier to view everything. I'm adding an accesorry section for all my cheap and cheerful items including headbands, coin purses, pocket kleenex holders, vintage calendar pins, journals and more! I have a new page that will show all the current collection.. easy to view and purchase.
Already the sales have been booming and I haven't even had a show yet! I've joined 2 new shoppes including Red Pegasus on College St. in Toronto and West Wing Books in Stirling, ON. how cool!
I'm putting together my artisans show schedule and it's going to be packed! I hope to get many visitors to swing by and say hi... some shows include the trendy distillery district, the Dockside Festival in Gravenhurst and the Festival of Friends in Hamilton. Of course, I'm swinging 2 careers so my acting has taken me to beautiful Alberta, where I'm performing "The Overcoat" at The Citadel in Edmonton. In just over a week, we take it to Theatre Calgary till early May. It's tough to be away from home at this point in the year.. but I brought my sewing machines with me and production is going very well.
So that's all for now.. hope to see all you readers in the next year at some point. There's plenty of opportunity!

What an amazing year it was!
2006 was crazy busy for FlyBall Bags. I learned so much, had great feedback from everyone and am more proud than ever of all that has been accomplished. I know 2007 is going to be huge!
I've been sewing and designing... redesigning and perfecting all sorts of new bags and accessories. I plan to do a tonne of artisans shows next year. I have so much fun seeing all the artisans at the shows and meeting people who are supporters of handmade designs. I will post some preview pictures so you can see what I'm talking about.
So Happy New Year all and here's to a whirlwind 2007!!!

Xmas in Regina

Hi everyone,

I've finally climbed onto the blogging bus! So great to keep everyone up to date on my goings on.

I'm in Regina performing a new musical at the Globe Theatre called Just So. It's been loads of fun. My last show is on New Years Eve and then I back to Toronto in the new year. Can't wait.

The theatre is amazing because they've given me full reign in the wardrobe dept. So I've been able to create lots of new bags and accessories for spring. I've decided to go even bigger this year. Many more amazing artisans shows and even better products with the most fantastic fabrics I could find. Hey why not, right?
